Altered Picture Frame

Hi,

My family is having a reunion on my mothers side this weekend. My sister is having it at her house and I volunteered to make a memory frame, for the people that have passed. I bought a regular frame at M's, it had a picture in it, I pulled out the picture and the glass. I bought a roll of cork and glued that to the cardboard backing. Then I bought a piece of satin material and placed that in the opening of the frame. I found a little cross, flowers, and some tulle, and just started glueing it all around the frame. On my cricut I cut a scroll frame for Home Accents and the word Memories from Heritage. Used the mirror paper for those, added some bling, and some little Prima roses. I also Glimmer Mist some little plain white roses from M's in the bridal section and glued them to the tops of plain tacks to hold the pictures in place(forgot to take a picture of those). But all in all I think the frame came out good. Thanks for looking.

It's Been to Long......

Hi Everyone,

I can not believe its been a year since I have blogged. I really did want to sit down many times and blog, but something always seems to happen. I have been doing some scrapbooking. I will try to post on a regular basis. I bought the Gypsy when it first came out on HSN and I have to say "I LOVE IT". I use it on pretty much every project I do.

Since getting it I have been wanting to make my own wordbooks. Well I finally dipped my toe in the water so to speak and it is AWESOME. I have a neighbor and a relative that are having babies soon, so here are the two books I made . I just use cereal boxes for the middle of each page and by the time you put your cardstock and paper its thick enough. I have a Bind it All machine by Zutter, first time using that tool also. The paper for both books is Little Yellow Bicycle and one of the books has a TM baby pin attached to the bow.
I really enjoyed doing these books. I'll be blogging again soon.
