Wedding Card

Hi Everyone,
It has been awhile since my last post. I really just don't know where this year has gone. My summer was just non-stop. In July we had a wedding to go to, so I decided to make a card. I don't make that many cards but I do enjoy them. What I like the most about making cards is that you can use a lot of scraps. We were giving a gift card so I made a little holder on the inside cover for the card. I used my cricut to cut out the word forever and its shadow. With a prima flower and a few embellishments from my stash, the card came together pretty quickly.
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Artist Printers Tray

Hi Everyone,
This is a project that I did a little over a month ago, but I am just now getting it posted. I really liked putting this together. I have one more picture to add but just haven't found the right one. I cut paper for each of the openings with my Cricut, inked the edges, & then pop dotted the pictures in front. Mostly everything is Prima (paper, flowers, butterflies, & pearl swirls). The charms, metal flowers, & stick pin was just things I had in my stash. On two of the corners I took a piece of cardstock and used a punch along one edge (either MS or Anna Griffin), I had some lace with pearls on it that I added along the edge, & then embellished on top.
Have a great day.

Valentine Mail Boxes

Hi Everyone,
I did these little mailboxes for my grandchildren. We will not be seeing them for Valentine's Day so I have already put them in the mail to them. The only thing that I actually had to go out and purchase were the tin boxes themselves. All the other stuff (paper doilies, flowers, embellishments, buttons, and ribbon) was already in my stash. I filled each with candy and I know they will enjoy them.
I hope you all have a great Valentine's Day.

Recipe Layout

Hi Everyone,

As you know if you read my blog I belong to a group of scrappie ladies and we try to get together as many times as possible during the year to scrap, laugh, and just have a really good time. Well, every January we get together at my sisters house for a weekend of fun. This will be the 3rd year that we exchange recipe layouts. They are a lot of fun to do and we have a very nice collection of recipes. This year my recipe is a Pork Chop Casserole. It is really good and this layout was so fun to do. I used my Cricut a lot for this layout. From My Kitchen is the cart I used for all the utensils, stove, and title. The paper is by October Afternoon (Modern Homemaker). I was having trouble trying to decide how I was going to outline the title, because there was no shadow feature for the words on the cart. I tried inking and chalking but it did nothing for me. Then I remembered that I had the markers to use on the Cricut and that was the ticket. I will be using these again. Have a great day.
