Care Bears

I had so much fun making this book for my grand daughter Emily. I made it for her birthday in September. When my daughter Amie was little was when the Care Bears first came out. She had everything Care Bears. We have some book from then and that is what I used to try and have them as close as possible to the originals. I cut about 90% of this book with my Cricut. Could not have done it without that machine. Each bear has 5 layers (Outer layers are the Bazzill shiney, 2 layers of white paper that comes in your page protectors, and the center is a layer of cereal boxes or any other type of box I could get my hands on). The cereal box idea came from my friend Heather Bares, she makes a lot of her own little books that way. Thanks, Heather

The only things that were not cut on the Cricut are the rainbows(done with my coluzzle), the clouds (sizzix), and the moon (free handed). I didn't show the backs of each bear, but that is where I put the pictures from her party and the embellishments. Also each bears name is right at the bottom of his tummy. I used the Cricut DS to weld the letters together. I really enjoyed making this book and this is something Emily will have for years to come.
